Movies and Mulch

Spent last night and most of today in the basement watching a few movies. First and foremost, with all the hype surrounding Kill Bill Vol 2, I actually rented Kill Bill Vol 1. Weird flick. Kinda like A Fistful of Dollars meets Ghost in the Machine: short on dialogue, long on violence. Cool.

Second movie was Love Actually. Yeah, I know it’s a chick flick, but hey, when you live with a chick you gotta do what you gotta do to rack up the points for free, unincumbered time in the basement.

This morning, did a little landscape preparation outside (gasp!) because we have a service coming in on Wednesday to move a bunch of boulders and lay down 15 cubic yards of loam. The best part is that I’ll have a backhoe and a Bobcat in my backyard for 2 days. Way cool.

After I Icy Hot’d my achin’ back, I watched the Tim Burton movie, Big Fish. Recommended.

I was supposed to go see my friends’ band, Loveless (check out the web page to see pictures by me!), at TT the Bear’s Place in Cambridge, but at the time of this writing, my agoraphobia took over and figured I could chill with my laptop. C’est la vie.

I hope Craigito made it out of the house…
